Abstract
In this article a square-wave generator, which employs an operational amplifier and is easy in construction, is considered for converting temperature to frequency so that the advantages of digital measurement of any physical quantity are utilized. A new procedure is suggested for obtaining linearity over a wide range of temperature for a specified value of deviation. Theoretical deviation curves have been obtained to show that the new procedure gives a wide range of temperature. Keywords
