Abstract
Lipid plaques in corneas of patients with lipid keratopathy, in corneas of hypercholesteremic rabbits and in the arteries of man and the hypereholesteremic rabbit are described. An interesting and thought-provoking analogy is drawn between the plaques that can be seen and followed in the eye during life with the more occult plaques of blood vessels in atheromatosis. Keywords
