Abstract
Summary: An account is given of an electrical resistivity survey covering an area of about one square mile across the valley of the River Browney near Bearpark, Co. Durham. The investigations were concerned with the pre-Glacial valley of the River Browney which is now filled with unconsolidated material to a depth of approximately 200 feet below the level of the present river. The methods used are briefly discussed and the results obtained are compared with recent geological findings in the area. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
