Abstract
Synopsis Measurements of the expansion behaviour of mortar bars containing various proportions of a reactive porous op aline rock are described. It is shown that the age at which cracking occurred is essentially independent of particle size, and that the alkali-silica reaction rate is primarily a function of particle volume. Keywords
