Abstract
We present a modification of the piston‐cylinder design of diamond cells which has been developed to achieve more precise alignment of diamond anvils with beveled culets. A two‐stage lever arm device is also used for high‐loading conditions. The modified diamond cell is superior to the previous megabar cell for ultrahigh pressure experiments above 150 GPa.Keywords
