Formation of 4-ribitylamino-5-amino-2,6-dihydroxypyrimidine in an adenine-riboflavin doubleless mutant of Bacillus subtilis.

Abstract
The identity of an intermediate in the biosynthetic pathway of riboflavin with the dihydroxypyrimidine is identified by the use of an adenine-riboflavine doubleless mutant of B. subtilis and a trapping agent of the pyrimidine glyoxal.
