Abstract
Of nine depressed patients given the dexamethasone suppression test, the four dexamethasone-resistant patients had significantly higher plasma norepinephrine and epinephrine levels than the five patients with normal suppression. These results suggest greater sympathetic function in dexamethasone-resistant depressed patients. Keywords
