Abstract
"Two groups of ten rats were trained on the same size-discrimination problem: One group was trained with simultaneous and the other with successive presentation of the two stimuli. Both groups were then tested for transposition behavior. The simultaneously trained group showed reliable evidence of transposition, whereas, the successively trained group showed a slight though non-significant preference for the originally positive stimulus."
