Abstract
Insulin injected intraven. into rabbits in doses of 1000 units can be recovered from the blood stream for as long as 90 mins., with a maximum recovery within 15 rnins. In 4 of the 10 animals a gradual and persistent rise in blood sugar occurred; in 5 others an initial hyperglycemia was followed by hypoglycemia which lasted as long as 9 hrs.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
