Abstract
Through the interpretation of certain features of the schizophrenic process, psychoanalytic theory links homosexuality and paranoid schizophrenia. This theoretical link derives from a concept of the dynamic development of the individual constructed from observations about individual cases rather than from any knowledge of the frequency of the linkage in the population of schizophrenic patients. Keywords
