Abstract
A dispersion relation—which includes the effects of spin—for the longitudinal oscillations of an electronic plasma in a magnetic field is calculated. In the long-wavelength and low-temperature limit, explicit formulas for the frequencies are obtained, and it is suggested that the result may be useful for the experimental determination of the product of the electronic factor and the effective mass.
