Fathers' Knowledge of Development and Involvement with Preschool Children

Abstract

Knowledge of development and parental involvement of 11 fathers of 3-yr.-olds were studied. Knowledge, particularly knowledge of normal development, was related to social involvement, but involvement in routine care was not related to either measure. The direction and cause are indeterminate.
