Abstract
The survival time of mice infected with mammalian tubercle bacilli is markedly affected by the composition of the diets fed to the animals during the course of the expt. Of the diets tested, a mixture of whole wheat and dried milk was the most favorable for resistance to infection, and a mixture of cornmeal and butter the most unfavorable. The differences could be recognized with several strains of mice whatever the infective dose and the route of infection used for the infection test.
