Optical analysis of vibration modes of elastic bars

Abstract
A simple method for measuring phase velocities of vibration modes in a bar is described. Experimental results for aluminum are compared with values computed from theoretical curves of the phase velocity versus frequency thickness product.This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
