Abstract
New XPS and UPS spectra of an FeO single crystal are reported and interpreted in the framework of a simplified LCAO–MO approach. Configuration interaction, interference processes, and covalency effects are, for the first time, simultaneously introduced in photoemission analyses of valence band structures. Keywords
