Abstract
A new betatron energy controlling circuit is described which has many advantages over those previously used. It is shown that there is a linear relationship between the helipot control on this circuit and the momentum of the electrons in the betatron just prior to striking the X-ray producing target. It is also shown that photoneutron thresholds can be used to calibrate the betatron energy scale with good internal consistency. Keywords
