Abstract
A simple and rapid procedure, which takes advantage of the effectiveness of conventional and HPLC hydrophobic interaction, for the isolation of highly purified rat liver 3,4‐dihydroxyphenylalanine decarboxylase is described in detail. Some of its structural and functional properties are reported and discussed in comparison with those of pig kidney 3,4‐dihydroxyphenylalanine decarboxylase.Keywords
