Abstract

The present experimental results bearing on the question of the parity of the

{Y_{1}}^{*} (1660)

are contradictory. We present data supporting the

{\frac{3}{2}}^{-}

spin-parity assignment based on the Stodolsky-Sakurai model of isobar production.
