Abstract
Statistische Analyse von 54 mit einfacher oder kombinierter Pars-plana Vitrektomie behandelten Augen mit chronisch endogener, meist juveniler Uveitis. Auffallend ist die hohe Frequenz von einfachen und kombinierten Zyklitiden, die trotz einer ebenfalls hohen Frequenz von Begleitsymptomen (Begleitamotio, Vaskulitis, PVR, Makulaschäden) und drei postoperativen Phthisen dennoch eine dem Durchschnitt entsprechende Erfolgsquote aufwiesen. Das beste Argument für die Indikation zur Vitrektomie bei Uveitis gibt uns die Feststellung, dass eine überzeugende Mehrzahl von Fällen nach einer präoperativ einschneidenden medikamentösen Therapie postoperativ keine oder nur eine banale lokale Therapie benötigt. Most striking is the high frequency of localized or combined cyclitis with good functional results, although complications of the disease (retinal detachment, vasculitis, PVR, macular damage) are extremely frequent in eyelids, and this group also includes, three cases of postoperative phthisis. The best argument in favor of an chronic uveitis is the fact that an overwhelming majority of the patients were able to switch from rigorous systemic preoperative medication to simple eye drops or no treatment at all.
