Abstract
DURING the past two decades substantial progress has been made in the treatment of pediatric solid tumors. Improved survival is accounted for by a better understanding of the natural history of the various tumors, improved histologic classifications, new technics to define extent of disease accurately, effective chemotherapy and improved radiation, surgical and supportive therapies.
