Abstract
Chloroacetyl naphthylamines are hydrolyzed at pH 6 by many tissues 30 to 100 times faster than the corresponding acetyl derivatives. The enzyme responsible for the hydrolysis can be localized histochemically by a method analogous to the azo-dye technique for esterase. Keywords
