Abstract
A 35 year old woman with systemic lupus erythematosus and hypocomplementenaemia presented with new onset seizures and subsequently died. At necropsy, widespread microinfarctions of the cerebral cortex were found to be predominantly due to the formation of leucoaggregates within small blood vessels without any vasculitis. Keywords
