Abstract
Experience with a semi-automated L. casei folate assay using a chloramphenicol-resistant strain of organism is described. Control of pH of medium and incubation time was required. The normal range for serum folate was 2 to 16 ng/ml and red cell folate 200 to 600 ng/ml.Keywords
