Abstract
A rough-colony mutant of C. albicans was isolated after UV mutagenesis. The mutant contained approximately half the normal amount of the cell wall mannan, the acetolysis pattern of which was indistinguishable from that of the wild-type counterpart. The extent of phosphorylation in the mutant mannan was .apprx. 12% of the value for wild type.
