Abstract
The previously suggested designation of the genome of A. longiglumis as A1 has been substantiated. An advanced structural differentiation of the chromosomes was found responsible for the sexual isolation barrier built up between species with the A genome and those with the A1 genome. The priority of these genomes and the extent of chromosomal differentiation in diploid oats has been discussed. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
