Morphology of Hemobartonella muris as Revealed by Darkfield Microscopy.

Abstract
Study of the blood of splenectomized rats by darkfield microscopy shows that H. muris manifests a limited motility which is directional in character. This method also shows that all the morphologic variants of the parasite seen in Romanowsky stained smears are intracellular as well as epicellular.
