Abstract
Summary Mice at all ages tested were susceptible to Guaroa virus via the i.c. route; however, only suckling mice were susceptible following i.p. inoculation. Infected suckling-mouse material gave the highest yield of virus. Neither the sex nor the strain of mouse employed had any influence on the titers noted. A method for producing mouse ascitic fluid with high levels of hemagglutination-inhibition, complement-fixation, and neutralizing antibody to Guaroa virus is described. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
