Inorganic Phosphate Concentration in Body Fluids as Related to Dental Caries Status

Abstract
There was no significant differences in parotid-fluid flow rate or serum inorganic-phosphate for the DMFS groups. Parotid-fluid inorganic-phosphate concentration showed a significant relationship (P< .01) to the dental caries status-the mean falling progressively from approximately 33.0 mg% to about 26.0 mg % as DMFS rates rose from 0-10 to 50 or more.
