Abstract
A careful study shows that the 2 spp. are morphologically indistinguishable when run in canaries and that infections follow a similar course. Even the original descrs. show few differences. Therefore, P. hexamerium Huff, 1935 (=P. oti Wolfson, 1936). Several new host spp. are reported.Keywords
