Abstract
The first verified case of myocarditis occurring in prodromal measles is reported. The diagnosis of myocarditis was made at autopsy. The diagnosis of prodromal measles was established by Warthin-Finkeldy cells being identified in multiple organs. There had been exposure to measles 2 weeks prior to death, and the victim''s infant brother presented with clinical measles concurrently with the patient''s death.
