Abstract
Crystals of [Mo(CO)2( dpmSe )2Cl]2 [Mo6O19].4CH3NO2 are triclinic, Pī , a 12.985(3), b 13.981(3), c 17.200(3)Ǻ, α 91.55(2), β 92.00(2), γ 101.12(2)°. In the cation, [Mo(CO)2(dpmSe )2Cl]+, the molybdenum atom is seven-coordinate with a slightly distorted capped octahedral environment. A carbonyl group occupies the capping position, and both dpmSe ligands display bidentate coordination. The dimensions of the anion are very similar to those previously reported. Keywords
