Abstract
Some characteristics of turbulence near the ground can begin to be interpreted There is yet little information about others (even near the ground) such as spectra measured along the vertical lines, or cross spectra between two variables. Further, results of turbulence characteristics over water are few and confusing, and no information exists about the effects of cities and deserts. As we go aloft, our information about spectra becomes more scanty, although the general areas of large turbulence intensity are fairly well known (auth)Keywords
