Abstract
Summary This article seeks to contribute to the debate surrounding the temporal and spatial ‘blurring of boundaries’ between ‘home’ and ‘work’ by presenting selected results from an empirical study of dual career households in the East Midlands relating to the ‘temporal’ and ‘spatial’ strategies adopted by individuals and households for managing the demands of ‘paid work careers’ and ‘household careers’.Keywords
