Abstract
This product was isolated together with 2-hydroxy-6-methyl-benzoic acid, mannitol, and fumaric acid from the metabolic products. This is the first recorded instance of the isolation of free gentisic acid from any natural source, and probably the first example of the production of fumaric acid by a sp. of Penicillium. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
