Cerebral air embolism as a cause of stroke during cardiac catherization

Abstract
Case report. A 65-year-old man with an acute anterior myocardial infarction was treated with IV tissue plasminogen activator, nitroglycerine, lopressor, aspirin, and heparin prior to transfer to our hospital. Two days later he underwent cardiac catheterization.
