Abstract
Sampling of Pogonophora was undertaken in Sognefjorden, western Norway, from depths between 1,240 m and 1,303 m. Siboglinum ekmani and Sclerolinum brattstromi were found. A list of the associated fauna is given. The population density of S. ekmani is estimated to 13–14 specimens per 0.1 m2 (range 6–29/0.1 m2). The population seems to be contagiously distributed. Keywords
