Contact dermatitis due to gold is a rarity. We saw it on a 28-aged female patient after wearing a golden ring during one and a half year. Patch testing with the ring and sodium aurothiosulfate of very low dilutions and lymphocyte transformationtest gave a positive result. That is the evidence of the allergic character of this case.
