Experimental investigation of the atmospheric dispersion of antimony containing particulates around a non‐ferrous plant

Abstract
The emissions of Sb‐containing particulates of a non‐ferrous plant have been measured during a one year period. The atmospheric dispersion of the particulates was monitored with a nine‐stations high volume network around the plant. Also the aerodynamic diameter of the Sb‐containing particulates was measured with cascade impactors at the sources and in the ambient air. It appeared that, within a distance of a few kilometers the contribution of the low altitude fugitive sources largely exceeds that of the 75 m high point sources.
