Abstract
The primary‐electron bias voltage and the neutral‐pressure dependence of plasma density in a multidipole device are investigated. Experimental data are described by a simple model which takes into account the production of multiple electron‐ion pairs by each ionizing primary electron.This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
