Abstract
The higher polarizabilities , , and have been calculated for using different-sized basis sets composed of James-Coolidge basis functions. The most-accurate wave functions led to the values 674, -89.8, and 5.97 a.u., respectively. It is emphasized that these properties are critically sensitive to wave-function quality.
