Abstract
A chiral diphosphonite, derived from BINOL and with an achiral diphenyl ether backbone, is an excellent ligand for the Ir-catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation of quinolines; achiral P-ligands serving as possible additives (ee = 73–96%).Keywords
