TUBERCULOUS MESENTERIC LYMPHADENITIS

Abstract
Two cases of tuberculous mesenteric lymphadenitis with emphasis on the angiographic findings are reported. In one the celiac axis was stenosed and became less so with antituberculous therapy. The other had enlargement and bowing of a superior pancreaticoduodenal artery and staining around the duodenum and head of the pancreas thought to have been secondary to hypervascularity of the inflamed lymph nodes. This disease may be successfully treated either medically or surgically.
