Some Answers about the Quality of teacher Students

Abstract
Fisher and Feldmann argue that the quali ty of students graduating from teacher education institutions is much higher than might be assumed based on the spate of recent national and regional reports. The authors found that teacher education students do compare favor ably with students in other academic areas, particularly when considering such things as high school percentile rank and cumulative grade point aver age. Further, their findings showed that for each of the three years of the study teacher graduates had a higher mean grade point average than non-teacher education graduates in selected content courses.
