Abstract
Measurements of the TFR plasma ion temperature over a wide range (300 eV ≤Ti≤ 1000 eV) have shown that the ion energy balance could be explained by losses following a 'plateau' dependence, the ion-ion collision frequency being increased by the presence of impurities. No 'banana'-like conduction loss has been found even for a 1 keV ion temperature plasma. Keywords
