Abstract
The possibility is discussed to give a required conductivity to the working fluid of an MHD power generator using the thermionic emission from suspended powder. Particular attention is given to the examination of the electrical conductivity under the conditions of an optimum concentration of solid particles. The numerical conclusions do never destroy the feasibility of a gas with suspension as a working fluid in the MHD generator. Some phenomena, such as energy transfer, current behavior, and so on, apt to be of importance in the generator are also discussed. Keywords
