Abstract
This investigation was carried out in the Mörrumsån river valley, province of Blekinge, southeastern Sweden. To establish the boundary between washed and non-washed till ten profiles were selected, five on each side of the boundary between ‘coastal’ gneiss and granitoid rocks in the valley. The results show a difference in altitude of approximately five meters between the levels of the highest shoreline on each bedrock unit. This discrepancy could be explained by neotectonic movements. Keywords
