Abstract
An 8 yr old boy with erythropoietic protoporphyria had a marked decrease in photosensitivity symptoms after several transfusions with washed, packed red blood cells. The photosensitivity reduction was associated with a decline in free erythrocyte protoporphyrin levels. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
