Abstract
The spin-orbit interaction term in the two-pion exchange nuclear potential is derived. It is found that while the spin-orbit force is quite small in the triplet odd states, it is large and repulsive in the triplet even states. The relationship of the pion theoretical result with the phenomenological spin-orbit interaction is discussed. Keywords
