Abstract
Parapharyngeal soft tissue infections may be rapidly progressive and life‐threatening. Prompt institution of appropriate antimicrobial therapy is of paramount importance. This report highlights the potential virulence of Aeromonas hydrophila in infection of the head and neck and the need to consider this organism in selected patients.Keywords
