Abstract
Fundamental requirements: 2 readily distinguishable sets of syringes[long dash]one for the injection of therapeutic products only, the other solely for the withdrawal of pathological fluids; sterilization by heat, as no ideal antiseptic soln. has been found; after thorough sterilization, avoidance of droplet infection and other possible contamination. Directions are given for the care of syringes used for the 2 distinct purposes, and convenient containers, such as parchment covered test tubes of suitable sizes, are recommended. The advice is practical for physicians, laboratory workers or patients using insulin syringes. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
